Responsibilities:

Loading and Unloading:

Safely load and unload furniture, boxes, and other items onto and off the moving truck.

Ensure items are securely packed and protected during transit.

Transportation:

Drive moving trucks adhering to all traffic and safety regulations.

Navigate routes efficiently, considering time and fuel efficiency.

Customer Service:

Interact professionally and courteously with clients during the moving process.

Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and effectively.

Inventory Management:

Maintain accurate inventory of items being moved.

Collaborate with team members to organize and track items.

Team Collaboration:

Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient moving process.

Communicate effectively with team leaders and coordinators.

Physical Requirements:

Lift and carry heavy items, furniture, and equipment.

Perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods.

Equipment Maintenance:

Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of moving equipment.

Qualifications:

Physical Fitness:

Ability to lift heavy items and perform physically demanding tasks.

Stamina to endure long hours of manual labor.

Driving Skills:

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Experience in driving moving trucks is an advantage.

Customer Service Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to handle customer concerns professionally.

Capability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Attention to Detail:

Careful handling of clients’ belongings to prevent damage.

Punctuality:

Reliable and punctual attendance.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience in a similar moving or logistics role is desirable but not mandatory.
